This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use anytoolskit.com (“AnyToolsKit”, “we”, “the site”) and what choices you have.

1. Your files stay on your device

All tools — the Icon Editor, ICO converters, favicon generator, ICO viewer and the PDF to image converters — run entirely in your web browser. Images, icons, PDF documents and project files you open or create are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers. Passwords you type to open a protected PDF are used only in your browser and are not stored or sent anywhere. Results are saved only when you download them. Editor preferences (such as grid visibility), your theme and language choice are stored in your browser’s localStorage and never leave your device.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time) for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary / preferences: localStorage entries that remember your theme, language, consent choice and editor settings. No consent is required for these.
  • Advertising cookies (if enabled): set by Google and its partners to show and measure ads.
  • Analytics cookies (if enabled): set by Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), advertising and analytics cookies are only used after you give consent through our consent banner. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.

If you decline advertising cookies, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use only limited data such as coarse location and the current page.

5. Analytics

If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (page views, device type, country). IP anonymization is applied by GA4 by default. Analytics loads only after consent where consent is required. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6. Fonts and other third-party resources

The editor can load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When a font is loaded, your browser connects to Google and transmits your IP address and browser information. The optional “Local fonts” feature uses your browser’s Local Font Access permission; the list of fonts stays on your device. The PDF tools load the PDF.js engine and its font and character-map data files from this site itself, not from a third party.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the age required by your local law) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Because we do not store files or accounts, we generally hold no personal data about you; requests regarding advertising or analytics data can also be made directly to Google. 9. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
