Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF to JPG for free?
Open PDF to JPG, drop your PDF, choose the pages and a DPI (150 is a good default) and click “Convert”. Download each image or all of them as a ZIP.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is read and rendered by JavaScript in your browser. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the converter keeps working.
Which DPI should I choose?
150 DPI is ideal for screens and sharing, 200 DPI for documents you want to zoom into or run OCR on, and 300 DPI for printing.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Type a range such as 1-3,5,8- or click page thumbnails to select and deselect pages.
Is there a page or file size limit?
There is no upload limit because nothing is uploaded. Very large pages are scaled down to a safe pixel size so your browser does not run out of memory.
